im 14 and ive been taking dance lessons for 5 years ive taken: jazz for 3 years, tap for 4 , and hip hop for 1. but next year i wanna take jazz and lyrical but im not sure if i can take lyrical, like if it will be too hard
My personal advice is to do ballet. You should start beginner lyrical and ballet this year. Ballet will help a lot in technique not just lyrical but also jazz. You may be embarrassed to be a "ballerina" but in reality it will help in the end. You will improve so much in jazz and lyrical if you do!
it depends where u go. if you take a beginner class it shouldnt be too hard but if you take an advanced class then yes it will be very hard ballet is necessary for technique if you ever want to be great i recommend taking ballet because it is very important.
